After graduating high school, Rebecca entered the United States Marine Corps Reserve, participated in Desert Shield/Storm and served as a mechanic and driver for an 8 year enlistment. Since that time, she has gained over 5 years experience in retail investigations, credited with over 100 arrests and over 1 million dollars in recovered items. Interest in the high energy, sales management field led her to become a driving force within a well know national beauty company. While manager over a large district in Arizona, Rebecca broke records in sales, productivity, staff, recruitment and retention. Key business indicators for her areas have reflected her energy, enthuisasm, and commitment to herself, her company, and her staff. An upbeat vibrant person, she is not one to sit on her laurels, rather one who is constantly seeking new vistas on the horizon. In 1998, Rebecca's desire to impact her community in a positive way gave her the inspiration to run for Yuma City Council and win the primary election. In addition, Childrens' ministry has given her several years to touch lives at formable ages. Holding a "Graduate of Biblical Studies" certificate, an AS in Christian Studies, an AS in General Business Management, an AS in General Studies, an AS in Law Enforcement, a BS in Church Ministry, an Instructor's License, and having graduated the Police Academy, she is equipped with a well rounded background. (Rebecca is actively pursuing her Master's degree in Theology and enrolled in a Bachlor's Degree program through CSULB). Rebecca is employed in law enforcement and has focused on assisting families overcome domestic violence. Rebecca's talents also include writing, motivational speaking, theology, computer training, marketing, web site design and management. Touching peoples' lives daily is this renaissance womans forte. In short, creative and dynamic are key words to her persona. Rebecca currently resides in Northern California with her nine year old daughter Madeline where she continues to blossom.
